About Fr. Keith Koehl:

  • When were you ordained? May 24, 1997.
  • When is your birthday? June 20

  • Where have you worked before St. Patrick? From fall of 1997 to spring of 2001, I was the associate pastor of St. Thomas More in Austin. From fall of 2001 to spring of 2006, I was the associate pastor at St. Mary's Catholic Center in College Station. (This parish was responsible for campus ministry at Texas A&M University.)
  • What have you enjoyed most about being a pastor? The opportunity to meet new people and encountering new life experiences. These would not be possible if I had not become a priest.
  • What is your favorite prayer? Reflective meditation.
  • Who is your favorite saint? St. Ignatius of Loyola.
  • What is your favorite color? Blue.
  • What is your favorite cookie? Oreos and Cameo Cremes.
  • What else would you like the parishioners to know about you? Before I was ordained, I received a bachelor of music with an emphasis in education from the University of Texas at Austin. I love being in the outdoors! I enjoy gardening, planning vacations, and traveling.
